Hollywood

The South Korean film industry is a unique and impressive one. Not only are their movies well-crafted, but they’re also highly original, with a wide range of genres and styles. Despite the fact that their cinematic output is a fraction of that of the U.S., the quality and quantity of their movies is unmatched anywhere else. In addition to that, South Korean films are also extremely scary, making them the perfect choice for a scary night out.
China
As an American living in China, you might be wondering: How many movies are there in China? China’s government regulates film production and distribution, and only allows 34 foreign feature films per year. Co-productions, however, are exempt from the quota system. A report from the European Audiovisual Observatory analyzed the film programming on 131 TV channels in 18 European countries from the 2015-2016 season.
